Choosing colours for your in-home newborn photography session? As a Markham newborn photographer, cream is one of my favourite starting points.

I love how soft and warm it looks, keeping the focus on your baby’s tiny features. These portraits use a simple palette of cream, oatmeal and beige, with different textures to give each setup its own feel.

The custom beaded cream bonnet from my client closet is one of my favourite pieces for baby girls. A little floral headband or a fuzzy bonnet with a knitted bear gives the same palette a different look.

When choosing your colours, think about the shades you love at home and where you might display your photographs. Whether you prefer neutrals or a little colour, we’ll plan something that feels right for you.
