Newborn photography is my passion. I specialize in capturing newborn images in the comfort of your home, in the York Region and Toronto area. These lasting images are for you to reminisce about your baby’s tiny feet and hands, curly lashes, and soft baby hair. Perfect imperfections such as little baby acne or a stork bite that you first worried about will become the adorable details you love to remember. Capturing the first weeks with your baby, the tears, the smiles, and the joy of completing a family picture is very meaningful to me.
Most photos are taken with professional studio lighting; I also enjoy candid moments and natural family photos in my lifestyle newborn photography. I am a big fan of images with shadows, earthy tones, and soft pastel colors - a quaint and timeless style you’ll love for your newborn portraits. I hope to capture these special moments of your baby's first few weeks of life with you.

I CARE
I remember the last thing I wanted to do after giving birth was to leave the house. Trying to find a decent shirt and a pair of pants that still fit me, dragging my still-in-pain body out of the door: just dreadful! With Dear Jassa, I bring the whole photo studio (literally!!) to your home, from lighting equipment to backdrops, props, baby wraps, and even cute little hats or hair ties, I have them all. I will be handling the baby for the whole session, so you can get some rest or have a proper meal.
I WAIT
Newborn photography is a fine art that requires not just photography skills but also a lot of patience. Being a mom of three little kiddos, I can say I have my fair share of patience. During your session, I’ll take my time to soothe your baby when they become unsettled. Nothing matters more than the safety of your baby. When the baby is sleeping soundly, I focus on perfecting the littlest details in every portrait.
